How to Apply for FIA Jobs 2026 – Step by Step Guide

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has announced new job 1394 vacancies for 2026. Candidates from across Pakistan can apply online through the official recruitment portal. Below is a simple step-by-step guide to help you complete your application easily.

Step 1: Visit the Official Application Portal

All applications must be submitted online through the official testing portal of the National Police Foundation.

Applicants should carefully read the instructions and available job positions before starting the application.

Step 2: Create Your Account

To apply for FIA jobs, you must first create an account on the portal.

You will need to provide:

  • Full name
  • CNIC number
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number
  • Password for your account

After registration, log in to your account to start the application.

Step 3: Fill the Online Application Form

After logging in, select the post you want to apply for and complete the online application form.

You will be asked to provide:

  • Personal information
  • Educational qualifications
  • Experience (if required)
  • Domicile details

Make sure all information is correct because incorrect or fake information can lead to disqualification.

Step 4: Generate the Fee Challan

Once the form is completed, the system will generate a fee challan with a 24-digit PSID number.

Download or print the challan for payment.

Step 5: Pay the Application Fee

Each applicant must pay Rs. 2000 for each post applied.

The fee can be paid through the 1Link 1Bill system using:

  • Any bank branch
  • ATM
  • Internet banking
  • EasyPaisa
  • JazzCash
  • UPaisa

Important: The application fee is non-refundable.

If you apply for multiple posts, you must pay the fee separately for each post.

Step 6: Wait for Application Confirmation

After submitting the application and paying the fee, your application will be processed.

Candidates will receive updates through:

  • SMS
  • Email
  • Application portal notifications

Step 7: Download the Roll Number Slip

If your application is accepted, you will receive a Roll Number Slip for the test.

You must bring:

  • Roll number slip
  • Original CNIC or passport

Without these documents, you will not be allowed to appear in the test.

FIA Recruitment Selection Process

The FIA recruitment process includes several stages.

1. Physical Measurement Test

Candidates applying for the following posts must pass a physical test:

  • Sub-Inspector
  • Assistant Sub-Inspector
  • Constable
  • Constable Driver

Height and chest measurements will be checked.

2. Endurance (Running) Test

Candidates must complete a 1 mile (1.6 km) run.

Qualifying time:

  • Male: 7 minutes
  • Female: 10 minutes

Only candidates who pass this stage can move to the next stage.

3. Written Test (Computer Based Test)

Qualified candidates will appear in a computer-based written examination.

The test usually includes:

  • General knowledge
  • English
  • Pakistan studies
  • Basic mathematics
  • Analytical reasoning

4. Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

Candidates must bring:

  • Original educational documents
  • Attested copies of certificates
  • CNIC
  • Domicile certificate

5. Medical Examination

Final selected candidates must pass a medical examination conducted by a government civil surgeon.

Candidates found medically unfit will be disqualified.
